Can I sell tickets for any event on Ticketmaster.com?
Only for TM+ events, which offer tickets straight from artists, teams, and venues plus 100% verified resale tickets from fans like you. Not all events on our site are TM+ events…yet. We're working hard to bring more artists, teams, and venues on board.
How do I know if I have tickets for a TM+ event that I can sell?
If you missed the TM+ logo next to "This is a TM+ event" in the top right corner of the event page when you bought 'em, it's easy to check after the fact:
If you see the button you're good to go!
How do I sell tickets?
Selling is simple!
Your tickets will be listed on Ticketmaster.com within minutes. Edit or remove your listing at anytime, and get paid by direct deposit for sold tickets.
Can I sell tickets I bought by phone or at a box office, retail location, or kiosk?
Right now only tickets bought on our site for a TM+ event can be listed for sale, but we're working on letting you list no matter where you bought your ticket. Stay tuned!
Why do you need my checking account and credit card info?
We need your checking account info to pay you by direct deposit for the tickets you sell. And we get your credit card info just in case the event you sold tickets for is canceled - we'll charge your card to refund the buyer. But don't worry you won't lose out - you get your own refund!
Can I sell my pit pass, parking pass, or timed-entry ticket?
Not yet, but it's on our to-do list! We're working hard to make it easy for you when you can't attend an event.
What happens when my tickets sell - how do I get paid?
We'll email you immediately, and you'll get paid by direct deposit in about 7 business days if your checking account is already verified. If it's not, we'll send you an email with the simple steps to verify it.
What happens if my tickets don't sell?
We'll email you shortly before the event if your tickets are still listed. You can lower the price, transfer the tickets to friends for free (if eligible), or use the tickets yourself - just be sure to remove your listing first! We remove all unsold listings a couple hours before the event.
Can I sell tickets if I don't have a US bank account?
For now you need a US bank account to get paid by direct deposit for tickets you sell.
Is there a fee for selling tickets?
Nope. When you tell us what you want to get for your tickets, we add a buyer fee plus commission to calculate the price the buyer pays. The buyer fee and commission are paid by the buyer, not you.
What is the "buyer's price"?
It's the total amount a fan will pay for your ticket: the amount you want to get plus a buyer fee and commission. We show you the buyer's price to help you price competitively.
Will the tickets in my listing be sold separately or together?
If you list fewer than three tickets, a fan must buy all of the tickets in your listing. If you list three or more tickets, fans can buy all or some of them. This increases your odds of selling (although there's a small chance you may be left with a single ticket).
Do I have to sell all of my tickets at the same price?
You can sell tickets at different prices by listing them separately (every ticket in a single listing must be the same price).
Can I check my listing?
And of course we'll email you if there's a status change (i.e., your listing sold, removed by you, or paid).
How do I remove my listing?
Remove it anytime before your tickets sell:
Now it's safe for you to use your tickets or transfer them to friends for free (if eligible).
How do I change my ticket price?
Raise or lower it anytime:
They'll show up at the new price within minutes.
How do I edit my checking account info?
Keep it current:
Note: If you remove your checking account info you'll need to reenter it before you can list tickets or get paid for sold tickets.
Why (and how) do you verify my checking account?
We verify your checking account to make sure it's valid and belongs to you. You have to verify only once, unless you switch accounts. Here's how it works:
Once your account is verified you'll get paid by direct deposit in about 7 business days.
What happens if an event is canceled?
If your tickets haven't sold yet, your listing will be removed and you'll get an automatic refund.
If your tickets have sold and you've been paid, you'll get an automatic refund and we'll charge your credit card to refund the fan who bought your tickets.
In both cases you won't get a refund if the tickets were transferred (not sold!) to you; only original purchasers are eligible for refunds.
What happens if an event is rescheduled?
If your tickets haven't sold yet, we'll contact you with the new date and time asap. You can use your tickets, keep them up, or ask for a refund. The decision to issue refunds for rescheduled events is up to the artist, team, venue, or promoter, but we'll do everything we can to help! Just contact us.
If your tickets have sold you don't have to do a thing. We'll contact the fan who bought your tickets with the new date and time.
I bought a resale ticket but now I can't use it - can I resell it?
Yes, tickets can be resold again and again and again … infinity!
Can I sell season tickets on Ticketmaster.com?
You can't list season tickets directly from My Account. If your team's home games are TM+ events, your listing will appear on Ticketmaster.com. TM+ events offer tickets straight from artists, teams, and venues plus 100% verified resale tickets from fans like you.
When I sell tickets for some events why do I get paid after the event happens?
Sold playoff tickets? We pay you after the game so you don't have to hassle with refunding the buyer if the game doesn't happen (common during playoffs).
Sold tickets for a super popular event? It takes us more time to process and confirm all orders to prevent fraud.
If you've already verified your bank account, you'll get direct deposit for the tickets you sold about 7 business days after the event. If your account isn't verified, we'll email you simple steps to do it.
If you sell tickets to a game that doesn't happen, we'll cancel the buyer's order. We'll also refund your entire order (including fees) on the same card used for purchase.
What if I have question I don't see here?
Contact us! We're happy to help.
We hate delays as much as you do. While our goal is to have your tickets in your mailbox within two weeks of purchase, a surprise holdup can slow things down. Some events may have a delivery delay in place, as such your tickets will not be shipped or available to print prior to that date. You can always check your event page on Ticketmaster.com to confirm if your event is currently on a delivery delay.
If it's two days before the event and you're still waiting for your tickets, contact us and we'll make sure you can pick them up at the venue's will call window (no extra charge).*
If you have more time before the event but want to switch from mail to another delivery option, contact us to request Print at Home/TicketFast or UPS (both may have a small fee).* With Print at Home/TicketFast you can print your tickets right away by signing in to your My Ticketmaster account (just click "My Ticketmaster" at the top of Ticketmaster.com, then click "Print My Tickets" under "My Account" on the right).
*If your tickets arrive in the mail in the meantime, tear them up! Once we make other delivery arrangements, we cancel the original barcodes.
Most tickets bought on Ticketmaster.com will automatically appear in your My Ticketmaster account. Click "My Ticketmaster" at the top right of any page on our site and sign in to view the tickets under "Order History." You can confirm your purchase along with delivery status, seat locations, total charges, and more!
Sign in to your My Ticketmaster account, click "Order History" on the right, and use "Search for Phone or Online Orders" located at the bottom of the page. Just enter your phone and credit card numbers (exactly as you entered them when you bought your tickets), select the state where the event takes place, and presto!
