Protecting your tickets is our top priority, so we’ve added Two Factor Authentication security to safeguard your My Ticketmaster account information and orders.
How does Two Factor Authentication work?
When you take an action in your account while using an unrecognized device, we'll use Two Factor Authentication by texting a one-time code to the phone number associated with your Ticketmaster account. Type in that code and select Confirm.
Does the Two Factor Authentication code expire?
Yes, the code will expire in 24 hours. After that deadline, you’ll need to request a new code.
Can I turn Two Factor Authentication off?
No, this is a security feature to make sure your tickets are only ever accessed by you.
I didn’t receive the code or my code has expired. What should I do?
Request a new code to be sent to you by selecting Request a New Code. If you're still having issues, try these helpful tips:
- Refresh your screen and enter the code again
- Check that Do Not Disturb mode is not enabled on our phone
- Enable roaming and ensure data is covered by your plan if you're traveling
- Restart the device and then have the code resent to you
What should I do if I can’t complete Two Factor Authentication?
Contact Fan Support if you experience any of these circumstances:
- I never received a code even after requesting a new one.
- I don’t have access to the email account right now.
- I’ve permanently lost access to the email account (i.e. switched jobs).
- There is a service problem or the website is not responding.
- I’ve exceeded the number of attempts for the selected action.
