The queue acts as a virtual line that uses advanced security measures to detect bots and monitor traffic. When it’s your turn, you can view the entire seat map and select your preferred tickets for purchase.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and aren’t guaranteed. We recommend joining the waiting room up to 15 minutes prior to the event going on sale.
When you’re ready, follow these steps:
- Locate the event on Ticketmaster.com or for some presales, you’ll need to use the link sent to you. Not all presales require a link.
- Join the waiting room before the ticket sale begins. If you join the queue after the sale starts, you’ll be at the back of the line.
- Use only one device and one browser to shop. For events with multiple dates, you can use multiple tabs to join each individual sale once.
- When the sale officially begins, you’ll be given a place in line.
- Once it’s your turn to shop, use the map to select your tickets and then proceed to checkout.
Events using the queue may vary due to traffic and demand that impact wait times.
For a smoother shopping experience, we recommend:
- Watch your screen. If you’re planning to shop for an event on your mobile device, keep your screen active and resist the urge to refresh; your page will automatically refresh when you enter the queue.
- Ensure your Ticketmaster Account is up to date, including your phone number and email address. Have an accepted payment method ready to avoid delays at checkout.
- Use a safe and secure internet connection.
- Turn up the volume on your device, so when it’s your turn, you hear the queue notification bell sound - even if you need to step away.
- Use the right link. The presale organizer may choose to send you a unique link that gives you access to the queue. Not all presales require a link.
Do I have to stay on the page the entire time?
Yes. While you're in the queue, your spot will automatically refresh, so please don’t refresh the page yourself, close or leave the page. When it’s your turn, your spot will be held for 10 minutes.
Is there a set time I will get ticket access?
No, a set time is not guaranteed. Each fan is given time to scope out the venue’s interactive seat map and shop for the best ticket for them, so there may be a longer wait than you’ve experienced before.
We only allow more people in when space opens up. During the process, we’ll keep you updated on your status along the way.
Can I join the queue more than once using more than one device or browser?
No, trying to enter the queue on a new device or browser will place you at the back of the line. We recommend using one account, one device, and one browser to join the queue.
Can I skip the queue?
No, the queue can’t be skipped. If you're waiting in line for access to tickets, stay on the page and don't refresh to keep your spot.
Why is the queue I'm trying to join closed?
Queues may close to prevent fans from waiting unnecessarily for limited tickets at the end of a sale. You can check the event page later to shop for any remaining tickets or look for any other upcoming sales for that event.
