Passkeys are a secure and easy way to sign in to your account without using your password. Once you add a passkey to your account, you can sign in to Ticketmaster with the same fingerprint, face screen lock or PIN you already use on your device.
How do passkeys work?
Passkeys verify your identity by using a fingerprint, face, screen lock or PIN that you use to unlock your device. After you add a passkey to your Ticketmaster Account, we verify your identity using the information shared by your device every time you sign in.
Are passkeys safe?
Yes, passkeys are highly secure. They eliminate the need for passwords, which are vulnerable to phishing and scams. Passkeys were developed using technology standards from the FIDO Alliance.
How do I set up passkeys?
Passkeys are supported on most devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers running Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Ensure your device is updated to the latest version. Currently, passkeys are not available on our mobile app.
To set up passkeys, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Ticketmaster Account and navigate to the Sign In and Security settings.
- Select the option to Add a Passkey.
- Follow the directions to register your device and create a Passkey.
The next time you sign in to your account, you can use your passkey instead of a password. We recommend setting up passkeys across multiple devices to ensure you can recover your account if you lose one of your devices.
Can I use passkeys on multiple devices?
Yes, passkeys can be synced across devices using cloud services provided by your device. This allows you to access your accounts seamlessly on all your devices.
Do I still have to use my password when I use a passkey?
No. Once you have added a passkey, you can sign in to your account just using your passkey.
Why am I getting an error when I try to sign in with my passkey?
A passkey error may occur if a passkey is removed from your Ticketmaster account without also removing it from your device password manager or authenticator.
To resolve this error:
- Remove all Ticketmaster passkeys from your device password manager or authenticator.
-
Remove all passkeys from your Ticketmaster account. To remove them,
follow these steps:

Why am I getting an error when adding passkeys with certain browsers or third-party password managers?
Some password managers do not support the latest technical specifications for passkeys on certain browsers. To resolve this, follow these steps:
- Consider setting your browser's default passkey provider to the native password manager in your browser settings (Google Password Manager, Apple iCloud Keychain, or Windows Hello)
- Try using a different browser
- Check back regularly for updates as passkey support improves across different managers
- Contact your password manager support team to request support for passkeys on browser extensions
What happens if I lose my device?
If your device is lost or stolen, you can recover your account using your existing Ticketmaster password. If you've forgotten your password, please use the Reset Password feature.
After signing in, navigate to your Ticketmaster Account and select Sign In and Security and click Remove to delete passkeys you will no longer use.
